Hi Pardeep

I hope you don’t mind me reaching out like this. My name is Josh Wardini and
I am the campaign coordinator for
websitebuilder.org. My team and I are
currently launching a new infographic that we thought may perk your interest!

It’s entitled, “101 Reasons Why You Need to Embrace Live Chat.” The
infographic outlines and explains all the reasons why Live Chat is so useful
and imperative in today’s online business climate.

Anyway, I thought this was something you may take interest in looking at or
maybe sharing with your audience if you think they would find it useful. Would
you mind if I sent it over so you can take a glance at it and see what you
think?

Our reply?

Hi Josh,

Happy to take a look and add it to our blog, we were just talking about
adding to the live chat section of our blog and we can do a summary and link
back to you.

Cheers

Pardeep

In short, it worked.

We created a blog post and linked to his Infographic. Why?

It was directly relevant to what we were doing at that moment. In fact, we
used all his stats for one of our other blog posts.

We NEEDED something like that infographic for our own content and he appeared
at the right time and sent it to us. We got Guestographicified.

Key Takeaways from Brian Dean’s video:

The five step process for sharing your infographics:

  1. Post an infographic on your site

  2. Find sites that write about your infographics topic

  3. Show them your infographic

  4. Offer them unique content

  5. Get your contextual backlinks

How do you get bloggers and journalists to link to your website?

Believe it or not but landing mentions and backlinks from popular sites in
your industry is easier than you might think. The secret, a technique that I
call:

Guestographics– A simple five-step formula that I recently used to boosts
organic traffic.

In this video, I’m going to show you the exact process I use, step by step.

A few months ago, one of my readers, Perrin Carrell, had a problem.

He recently launched a site in the dog space called Chewie Says. He was having
a really hard time out ranking his competitors on Google’s first page.

Perrin knew that to have a chance against these big brain competitors, he’d
have to build high quality backlinks. But, as someone with a new site with
literally zero connections, how could Perrin possibly build the backlinks that
he needed?

Fortunately, Perrin read my article on my blog called “How to get backlinks
with Guestographics
”. The
results: A **963% boost in organic traffic **in just six weeks.

The five step process that Perrin used:

  1. Post an infographic on your site

  2. Find sites that write about your infographics topic

  3. Show them your infographic

  4. Offer them unique content

  5. Get your contextual backlinks

Now it’s time to break down each step in detail….

1. Post an infographic on your site: This needs to be a high-quality
infographic. Perrin’s was called, ’22 ways dogs make humans healthier’.

2. Find sites that write about your infographics topic: If you want people
to share your content, they need to see it. This may sound obvious, but it’s a
step that a lot of people mess up. That’s because
the secret of content
promotion and outreach is finding the right people
. So, who are the right
people? People who already write about your infographics topic. How do you
find them? A simple Google search.

3. Show them your infographic: This is one of the reasons that
guestographics is so different to how most people promote content online.
Often people who promote their sites with email outreach can be too pushy.
However, with guestographics, you flip the script. Instead of a pushy email
that begs for a link, **you ask the person if they want to see your
infographic. **This shows that you respect their time and opinion.

This is the perfect email example:

Hey (name),

I was looking for some information on (your topic) this morning and came
across your article (article title)

Good stuff! I especially liked how you (something they mentioned in the
article).Actually I just put together an infographic on (your topic). Let me
know if you want to check it out.

Thanks

(Your name)

Once you get a reply back from someone that says sure send it over, it’s time
to send them your infographic.

4. Offer them unique content: The reason why guestographics are so
powerful, is rather than just simply showing your infographic to someone and
hoping that they share it, you sweeten the deal with a little bribe. The bribe
I’m talking about a unique introduction to go along with the infographic.
**When someone wants to share your infographic on their site, there’s a huge
barrier that usually stops them. It the fact that they have to write a unique
introduction to go along with it. **No reputable blogger is going to take
your infographic and slap it on their site and call it a day. Their readers
expect unique content, which is why you offer people that show interest in
your infographic a unique introduction.

This is the perfect script example:

Here you go, (Name):

(Link to infographic)

Let me know if you ever want to share the infographic on your site. I’ll be
happy to write a unique introduction to go along with it.

Thanks,

(your name)

When they get back to you, saying sure I would love the unique introduction.
That is when you whip up a high quality 200 or 300 word introduction. Things
to remember: The blogger expects your intro to be great, so make it guest post
level quality content. And make sure you include one link back to your site in
the introduction.

Once it is ready to send.

This is the perfect final response example:

I just put the finishing touches on your introduction (attached).

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks!

5. Get your contextual backlinks: Unlike most backlinks that you get from
infographics that show up as a source link, underneath the image,
guestographics result in the type of contextual backlinks that Google values
most. That means that the links you get from guestographics are significantly
more powerful than if someone just pasted the infographic in a blog post.
